On Wednesday afternoon, Joshua class went on a super big bug hunt. We had the help of some Sixth Form student biologists from Newquay Tretherras, who had made a map for the children.
The children used the map to search for bugs and our new bug explorer equipment to study each bug they found. The children then ticked off each bug they discovered.
The children found baby snails, slugs, worms, wood louse and spiders. The children worked with a partner to share equipment.
Miss Wilson was very proud of how the children represented Joshua class and Newquay Primary Academy. Well done everyone!
