Joshua class have had an interstellar start to the Spring term. The children have been learning about the ISS (International Space Station) and playing in their own in class.
They have learnt about gravity and what the planets look like in our solar system. The children have made space passports so they can enter the dark space pod and explore with torches. They have weighed moon rocks to find out which is the heaviest and made play dough comets with icy tails.
Some of the children had a competition to see who could throw their comet the furthest.
